Gamescom 2026: The new release dates announced at Opening Night Live
Opening Night Live 2026 brought relatively few new release dates. The conference mainly helped clarify the schedule for the next six to nine months, with several announcements for December 2026 and Spring 2027.
Key new dates to remember

- September 29: Transport Fever 3
- September 29: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered

- December 10: Stage Tour
- December 11: Path of Exile 2, version 1.0
- December 2026: There Are No Ghosts at the Grand early access
- Winter 2026: Petit Planet
Early 2027
- January 15: Ananta
- March 11: Road Kings
- April 7: EXODUS
- April 27: Pony Island 2: Panda Circus
- Early 2027: Game of Thrones: War for Westeros

Few new dates, but a heavily featured September
Beyond these announcements, Opening Night Live mainly multiplied the new trailers for games already scheduled for September.
Just weeks away from GTA VI, publishers therefore continue to concentrate a significant portion of their releases in the early fall, while new date announcements are gradually beginning to fill out December 2026 and the first half of 2027.
These new dates have already been integrated into the Launch Navi calendar to track the evolution of release density over the coming months.
